Star Wars Outlaws has arrived on Steam, where new players will join protagonist Kay Vess and her companion, Nix, in this epic Scoundrel adventure. With five planets to visit, starting in Canto Bight/Cantonica, they'll advance with the main questline into Toshara; they'll be confronted with an important decision to make in the Hyperspace quest on which planet between Akiva, Kijimi, or Tatooine to visit first.

In light of the Wild Card DLC launch, new players jumping into Star Wars Outlaws will want to know which planet is the best location to travel to. This guide will help clear this seemingly impossible quest as we explain which is the best planet to travel to first to complete the Hyperspace quest for Star Wars Outlaws.

Akiva, Kijimi, Or Tatooine: Which Planet Should Players Visit First In Star Wars Outlaws?

The Hyperspace quest is one of the shortest main quests to complete; however, it presents players with a seemingly difficult task. This quest is automatically triggered after finishing The Wreck quest, in which once they've escaped the wreckage, they'll meet up with ND-5 and Jaylen Vrax, who are assembling a team to pursue Sliro, head of the Zerek Besh crime syndicate.

To achieve this, they will be presented with the task of choosing their next destination: Akiva, Kijimi, or Tatooine, which continues the main questline until it concludes on that planet and picks up at the next planets they didn't pick first before the final act begins with the Legacy quest. So, what are the similarities or differences between Akiva, Kijimi, and Tatooine? Let's discuss:

Akiva: This lush planet is one of the biggest in-game; however, it features multiple restricted areas and a few challenging Contracts that may be difficult for new players to complete. This could be due to not having the required upgrades for Kay's Blaster, Speeder, and the Trailblazer or the necessary Reputation with the various crime syndicates to access these restricted areas, so we advise waiting until they've wrapped up activities and quests in Kijimi and Tatooine.

Kijimi: Kijimi has the smallest map layout as it's just a small city, not a planet per se; however, most Contracts take place in orbit, which is fairly easy to complete. The biggest factor in choosing Kijimi is the Power Module upgrade, the most important module to unlock and can be done during The Gunsmith quest, which is needed to begin the Wild Card DLC quests. Another reason Kijimi is a good option is the Ashiga Clan, which is important to build a Reputation with, as they'll be unable to access territories on Kijimi as they're being controlled by the Crimson Dawn, which they wish to regain control of. Maxing the Reputation provides rewards that are valuable in keeping Kay alive for as long as possible, namely the Ashiga Clan Crest and the Kijimi Explorer set.

Tatooine: The iconic planet is one of the planets Kay and Nix can visit, and it's the second largest in Star Wars Outlaws. The map is vast, much like Akiva, and there's plenty to explore, but there are two highly important Experts, the Jawa Teeka (The Hotfixer), which requires completing the Jabba's Gambit mission and Lando Calrissian (The High Roller) to locate and complete their related questlines to make them available to Kay. As mentioned, the Jabba's Gambit mission, which is included with the Season Pass, is mainly situated in Tatooine, and they'll visit Jabba's Palace, which is a treat for Star Wars fans as this planet is littered with Easter Eggs for them to find.

Putting all this information into context, it would be wise to suggest that they should pick traveling to Kijimi first as it boasts a smaller map with very little to explore, but maxing the Reputation with the Ashiga Clan is extremely rewarding, and getting the Power Module upgrade will help them when they eventually traveling to Akiva and Tatooine. Similarly, they can begin the Wild Card DLC quests after finishing the questline on Kijimi before heading to Tatooine, the next planet to travel to, and wrapping up Kay's travels in Akiva last before beginning the final act.
