The upcoming game Slitterhead might get some updates at Summer Game Fest 2024, three years after it was initially announced at the Game Awards back in 2021. The game's developers, Bokeh Game Studio, are slated to be in attendance at Summer Game Fest 2024 in June. Slitterhead is set to be the studio's first game, so unless they have a new game in development alongside it to announce at Summer Game Fest, it's very likely that fans will hear some updates about Slitterhead at the festival.
Slitterhead was announced to much fanfare thanks to the numerous Silent Hill veterans working on the game. Keiichiro Toyama, who created Silent Hill, heads Bokeh Game Studio and is Slitterhead's creative director. It's even set to have a soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka, the iconic composer behind almost every other Silent Hill game.
The game's announcement also included a trailer, getting many fans excited for what's to come in the title. Slitterhead's trailer reveals a city overrun with parasites that take over human bodies, showcasing the terrifying world that players will explore in the upcoming title.
There isn't much information about Slitterhead quite yet, outside of the initial trailer and announcements back in 2024. That said, we're hoping to see some announcements surrounding the game at Summer Game Fest this year. Meanwhile in Silent Hill news, Bloober Team and Konami announced that Silent Hill 2 is coming out in 2024.
