Capcom and FunPlus are collaborating to bring Resident Evil characters to State of Survival on both PC and mobile platforms, blending the horrifying and eerie atmospheres of both games to create a truly iconic partnership that will resonate with survival horror fans.
The collaboration kicks off today, 27 October - just in time for Halloween - and focuses on Resident Evil Village. Lady Dimitrescu and Chris Redfield are included as the new characters in the first part of the collab.
“The Capcom Team is delighted to collaborate with the State of Survival,” explains the publisher in an official statement. “Chris and Lady Dimitrescu are waiting for you this fall. Enjoy the world of "Resident Evil" through exploration and Settlement decorations unique to this collaboration.”
The second phase of the collab will start on 1st December, featuring characters from the Resident Evil 4 Remake. It'll include Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong, two fan-favorites from the franchise, as its newest heroes coming out in December.
"We are thrilled to collaborate with Capcom and seamlessly merge the Resident Evil universe with State of Survival," said Chris Petrovic, Chief Business Officer at FunPlus. "The incredible synergy between the two franchises makes for a perfect fit, offering fans a truly immersive gaming experience..."
The collaboration includes skins, Settlement decorations, Avatar frames, and more brand-new additions.
