Getting past this giant fan is easy enough in Resident Evil Village.
Once players have reached Heisenberg’s Factory in Resident Evil Village, a whole new load of collectables and areas become accessible.
There are numerous collectables in the area but some players haven’t been able to access some due to the large Grinder located in the Foundry of the factory.
Players will stumble upon this location by simply working their way through the factory but might be stimied once they meet the Grinder. It’s a huge fan with large blades going too fast for you to navigate. However, there is a way to stop it so you can access more collectables and keep making your way through the Foundry and eventually make your way out of Heisenberg’s Factory.
Stopping the Grinder in Resident Evil Village
Once you’re in the Foundry, locating the Grinder shouldn’t be too difficult. It’s a huge fan-like object that prevents players from progressing if they don’t stop it. Luckily, there’s an easy way to stop it provided you have at least four bullets and a decent shot.
After seeing the Grinder, make your way down the metal stairs until you can see the orange light in the centre of the Grinder. The orange lights on the side of it don’t matter as of yet.

Once the centre orange light is visible, shoot it out by aiming at the middle of it. Then, you can proceed to shoot the two lights surrounding it.
Next, move down another level until you can see the remaining orange light on the Grinder. Like the others, shoot it and the Grinder will glow an orange colour and eventually stop moving.

Once this happens, you’re free to access the remaining areas in the Foundry and even find the Development Note 2 in the room that was previously cut off due to the Grinder. You’ll find the note from the file on the desk.
