Resident Evil 9 Coming 2025, Leaker Claims

Resident Evil 9 might be coming sooner than fans thought, according to franchise leaker Dust Golem. On X/Twitter, the leaker announced that the upcoming game will be revealed soon and may have a January 2025 release date (though this is subject to change).

Dusk Golem also suggested that RE9 has been in development for a total of 7 years, and "started development as a possible RE8." The leaker announced that the title would have the biggest budget and development time of any Resident Evil title to date.
