Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket immediately gained attention when it was first announced, looking like the perfect mobile game companion for this beloved hobby. Being able to play and trade with virtual cards is the next best thing, especially for those who don’t buy booster packs on the regular.

Thankfully, this highly-anticipated app finally has a release date, so fans will know when to play virtual TCG with their friends. It’s not too far off either, so anyone looking forward to this mobile TCG game won’t be chomping at the bit.

According to the app’s official Twitter account, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is coming out on iOS and Android devices on October 30. Fans can pre-register the TCG app immediately to start playing once the date hits.

Revealed back in February, Pocket immediately gained interest from fans by putting everything great about this collectible in one app. Gamers can battle their friends, open daily booster packs, trade cards, and more. This can all be done through this app, making the wait painful for parts of the fandom. 

Developers Creatures Inc. and DeNA added bells and whistles to make this app feel special. Being able to collect these beautiful cards through booster packs is already a reward in itself. The devs added special “immersive cards” that give players a better look at the stellar art.
