Pokémon GO Rock 'n' Roll Roggenrola - All Special Research Challenges

After recently unveiling the Psychic Spectacular event earlier this month, Niantic’s back with more events. Besides the Test Your Mettle event, Trainers will participate in this month's Pokémon GO Community Day, featuring Roggenrola, the Mantle Pokémon.

Alongside catching Roggenrola, Trainers can also participate in a limited-time event during Community Day. Titled Rock ‘n’ Roll Special Research Story, this exclusive, unlockable event features missions Trainers can complete acquiring resources and even a fully evolved Roggenrola.

Pokémon GO Rock ‘n’ Roll Special Research Story Challenges

Trainers eager to participate in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Special Research Story can purchase a ticket for $1 in the in-game shop during this month’s Community Day, which kicks off on 18th September 2022, and lasts from 5 pm to 10 pm local time.

The Roggenrola Special Research Story is divided into four challenges Trainers need to complete to make the most out of the event.

The first three challenges comprise nine challenges that seem reasonably easy to finish for Trainers cruising their neighborhood during the Roggenrola Community Day.

The last step only requires Pokémon GO players to claim the rewards after completing the other challenges.

Here are all the challenges (and their rewards) Trainers need to complete during Pokémon GO’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Special Research Story event.

• Power Up Pokémon 10 Times - Reward: Poké Ball x15

• Catch 15 Roggenrola  - Reward: Roggenrola Encounter x1

• Make 5 Nice Throws - Reward: Roggenrola Candy x20

• Challenge Completion Rewards: Stardust x2000, Roggenrola Encounter x1, Star Piece x1

Rock ‘n’ Roll Special Research Story - Challenge 2

• Catch 15 Roggenrola - Reward: Roggenrola Candy x30

• Transfer 10 Pokémon - Reward: Boldore Encounter x1

• Evolve 3 Roggenrola - Reward: Pinap Berry x10

• Challenge Completion Rewards: Exp. x1500, Roggenrola Encounter x1,  Star Piece x1

Rock ‘n’ Roll Special Research Story - Challenge 3

• Make 3 Great Curveball Throws - Reward: Roggenrola Candy x50

• Evolve 1 Boldore - Reward: Lucky Egg x1

• Transfer 10 Pokémon - Reward: Great Ball x15

• Challenge Completion Rewards: Exp. x2500, Rocket Radar x1, Ultra Ball x15

Rock ‘n’ Roll Special Research Story - Challenge 4

• Claim Challenge Completion Reward - Reward: Silver Pinap Berry x2

• Claim Challenge Completion Reward - Reward: Roggenrola

• Claim Challenge Completion Reward - Reward: Exp. x3500

• Challenge Completion Rewards: Stardust x3000, Gigalith Encounter x1, Rare Candy x3

And that’s all there is to it. For Trainers planning to spend a few pennies to participate in the Community Day Special Research Story event, keep close attention as a Shiny variant for Roggenrola will be available.
