Pokémon GO is always throwing awesome events for Trainers to participate in, and the newest one from the Season of Light is the Evolving Stars event, featuring Cosmoem. Here is everything you need to know about the Evolving Stars event in Pokémon GO, including the start date, events, and the debut of the Pokémon Cosmoem.
Pokémon GO Evolving Stars - Start Date & Time
The Pokémon GO Evolving Stars event will begin on 5th October 2022 at 10 a.m. local time and will end on 11th October 2022 at 8 p.m. local time.

Pokémon GO Evolving Stars - All Featured Monsters
The event will feature the debut of a new pocket monster to Pokémon GO, as well as various wild encounters and other festivities.
Cosmoem
The event will feature the debut of the Pokémon Cosmoem. Players will now be able to evolve their Cosmog into Cosmoem. The evolution will cost 25 Cosmog Candy.

The following Pokémon will be available in the wild during the event:
- Kakuna
- Pidgeotto
- Poliwhirl
- Kadabra
- Haunter
- Rhyhorn
- Seadra
- Scyther
- Eevee
- Swinub
- Ralts
- Duskull
- Tynamo
- Litwick
- Helioptile
Pokémon GO Evolving Stars - Raids
The following Pokémon will appear in raids throughout the event:
- Slowpoke (1-star)
- Onix (1-star)
- Scyther (1-star)
- Porygon (1-star)
- Sunkern (1-star)
- Magneton (3-star)
- Rhydon (3-star)
- Togetic (3-star
- Piloswine (3-star)
- Yveltal (5-star)
- Xerneas (5-star)
- Lopunny (Mega)
- Manectric (Mega)
Yvetal, Mega Lopunny, Mega Manectric, and Xerneas will appear in raids until 8th October 2022 at 10 a.m. local time. These monsters will have an increased spawn rate and spawn in their shiny form.

Mega Gyrados Raid Day
On 8th October 2022, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time, Mega Gyrados will appear more frequently in Raids. In addition, players can receive more raid passes by spinning discs at gyms.

Evolution Cup
In addition, a new competitive event, called the Evolution Cup, will occur during the Pokémon GO Evolving Stars event. Only Pokémon with less than 1500 CP and middle evolutionary forms can participate.
