Niantic has announced the Festival of Colors event for Pokémon GO to celebrate Holi, an Indian festival. While the event was available for Indian players last year too, Niantic is taking it globally this time after its huge success.
Festival of Colors event will begin from 15th March, a couple of days after the March community event, and will run for six days until 20th March. During this period, colorful Pokémon will appear for players around the world, adding more excitement for them during the Season of Alola.
March into the #SeasonOfAlola, and enjoy a variety of research opportunities, raids, Spotlight Hours, and Pokémon making their Pokémon GO debuts.

These Pokémon associated with different colors of the Festival of Colors will be attracted towards the Incense more frequently than normal.
In addition to this, you will also get free goodies and bonus rewards for free during the event by completing a series of Timed Research tasks. However, the rewards that you will be getting during the Festival of Colors event have not been revealed.
Last year in 2021, players got two Avatar costumes for free along with a bonus reward after the event got over. Along with this, a new Pokémon Dedenne and a rangoli-inspired avatar outfit also made their way through the Pokémon Festival of Colors.
