The Steel-type Pokémon will appear during Wild Encounters for the duration of the event, with a chance of its Shiny counterpart appearing if Trainers are lucky enough to encounter it. However, Aron will not appear in any of the Raids for this event.
In addition to wild Encounters, Trainers can earn more encounters with Aron when completing Timed Research tasks during the Test Your Mettle event. But most importantly, the Steel-type Pokémon is receiving a Spotlight Hour feature where Trainers stand a higher chance of catching Aron for a limited time.
The Spotlight Hour: Aron occurs on 20th September 2022 for an hour between 6 pm and 7 pm local time. During this Spotlight Hour event, Aron will gain increased spawns making it more likely for Trainers to catch the Pokémon and its Shiny form.

There is a Spotlight Hour bonus that Trainers can take advantage of when the event occurs. According to the developer, this bonus will see them earn double Candy when catching Pokémon, which can be beneficial for their Pokémon.
Candy and Candy Xl can be used to increase a Pokémon’s strength by powering it up temporarily to Level 40 or aid in a Pokémon’s evolution. In addition, Candies can be vital when trying to unlock a Pokémon’s Charged Attack, which can be helpful, especially during Raid battles.
