There are dozens of unnamed locations spread across Sinnoh in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. From caves to random patches of grass, players have a ton to explore as they continue their new Pokémon journey. One of the more talked about unnamed spots in Sinnoh is the Trophy Garden, as it can hold a wide variety of rare Pokémon, like Pichu and Pikachu.
As one would expect with an unnamed location, players can’t find where the Trophy Garden is by a quick scan of the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl map. Instead, they’ll either need to find it throughout their travels or read the guide below to expedite the process.
Finding the Trophy Garden in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
The only requirement that you need to access the Trophy Garden is to make it to Hearthome City. Once you’re in the city, you won’t be able to battle the Gym Leader, Fantina, until later. However, you’ll need to check out the Contest Hall before you can fully explore the surrounding routes.
To make it to the Trophy Garden, you’ll want to go to the southern exit, which leads out to Route 212. On Route 212, you’ll see some nice shrubbery, a couple of ponds and a few trainers. Although, what you’re looking for will appear on the right side of the route. There will be a huge house with fountains and hedges surrounding it. Enter the building, known as the Pokémon Mansion, and keep going straight to talk to the woman next to the door.
The woman will tell you that out through the door is the Trophy Garden and that wild Pokémon can sometimes appear. Walk through the door and you’ll find yourself in the garden. There will be a medium-sized patch of grass, which is the main attraction of the area.
Here, you can find common and rare Pokémon. However, the Pokémon that can spawn there increases once you unlock the National Dex. This happens after you see all 150 Pokémon in the Sinnoh Dex.
And there you have it, that’s all you need to know about accessing the Trophy Garden in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
