There are a plethora of three-line evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, following the trend of the mainstream games from previous years. The three-line evolutionary Pokémon are still the norm but that doesn’t make it easier to actually evolve the mons in the line. For example, some Pokémon require special evolutionary methods instead of simply just leveling them up to a set level and then watching them turn into a new Pokémon. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Duskull is a Pokémon that has no special methods but its following evolution does.
Duskull evolves into Dusclops, as long-time Pokémon fans will know. However, what some don’t know is if Duskull required a new evolutionary method in Hisui or if it follows the same method as previous games. Below, players can see exactly what they need to do to evolve Duskull and how they can go about catching one in the first place.
Catching and evolving Duskull in Pokémon Legends Arceus
For starters, Duskull can be caught during the mid-game portions of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Here is every location the Ghost-Pokémon can be caught in Hisui.
- Alabaster Icelands - Avalanche Slopes
- Alabaster Icelands - Arena’s Approach
- Cobalt Coastlands - Deadwood Haunt
- Cobalt Coastlands - Deadwood Haunt (Mass Outbreaks)
For players looking to acquire a Duskull easy and early, Deadwood Haunt is the way to go. It’s the quickest and has the best spawn rate for Duskull. Once players have the Ghost-type in their party, they can go about evolving it into Dusclops.
Like in previous games, the only requirement players need to hit to evolve Duskull into Dusclops is to reach level 37 with Duskull. Once this level is hit, players can then manually choose to evolve Duskull and they’ll end up with a Dusclops, who’s a much stronger Pokémon.

If players want to go the extra mile and evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir, they need to find the Reaper’s Cloth and give it to Dusclops. After all that is done, players will have gone from a lowly Duskull to a Dusclops at level 37 to a Dusknoir at whatever level they find the Reaper’s Cloth at in Hisui.
That’s all players need to know about evolving Duskull into Dusclops in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. For more coverage on Arceus or any of the other popular titles in the Pokémon series, make sure to stay tuned with GINX.
