Elekid is one of the many baby Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Hisui is littered with Pokémon of small size that begin their evolutionary line. Like in previous titles, the baby Pokémon aren’t too difficult to find but will cause some trouble for players who aren’t exactly sure where to look for them. Luckily, guides like this post exist to ensure that players can capture all Pokémon and add them to their Pokédex and party.
Elekid is an Electric-type Pokémon that is the pre-evolved form of Electabuzz. On its own, Elekid isn’t going to win you many battles or serve as anything more than a precursor to a great Pokémon. However, you will have to use Elekid until it reaches level 30 to evolve it into Electabuzz. This means likely switch-training it for quite some time to reach that threshold.
Before you can think about evolving Elekid, though, you need to know where to catch it in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Catching Elekid in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
In order to catch Elekid in Hisui, you will have to make it to Alabaster Icelands. Elekid is commonly found on land at Icebound Falls and more rarely on land at Arena’s Approach. You can find the small Electric-type wandering the land during any time of the day, so there’s no need to wait until nightfall or morning to go out searching.

Icebound Falls is found in the far south of Alabaster Icelands while Arena’s Approach is found just northwest of that location. Obviously, we recommended going to Icebound Falls to look as there’s a high chance you’ll run into Elekid there.
However, if you don’t want to search in Alabaster Icelands, you can encounter Elekid through Mass Outbreaks in Coronet Highlands. More specifically, Cloudcap Pass in Coronet Highlands. You can also search for Elekid on land in Cloudcap Pass but it’s a rare encounter. You’ll have much better luck in a Mass Outbreak.
The level at which you encounter Elekid will vary from 26-63 depending on where and how you catch it. If you catch one beyond level 30, then you will only have to level it up once to evolve it into Electabuzz. From there, you will need the Electivizer item to evolve Electabuzz into Electivire in.
That’s everything you need to know about catching Elekid in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. For more guides like this as well as other game information, check out our dedicated Pokémon page.
