Pokémon GO - All Battle Weekend Challenge Rewards 2022

As the Anniversary Event continues on in Pokémon GO, a second event will be held this weekend which is called Battle Weekend. There are two entirely separate sets of research during this weekend, but the themed version is the Battle Weekend Challenge.

Not only are there plenty of Battle Weekend Challenge rewards to earn, but the branching task system was brought back for another spin as well. The latest branching paths will give everyone the option to pursue raid challenges or take on other Trainers in the GO Battle League. This system was used for Pokémon GO Fest 2022 and the Alola to Alola special research a couple of months ago.

All Battle Weekend Challenge Rewards in Pokémon GO

Alongside the Battle Weekend Challenge rewards in Pokémon GO, there will be special research tied to the Team GO Rocket Grunts and Giovanni. These are entirely separate tasks and the Team GO Rocket tasks can be completed all the way up until September, which leaves plenty of time.

Battle Weekend will only go on from July 9 at 12 am local time to July 10 at 11:59 pm local time. That short window is when you will need to take on plenty of PvE or PvP challenges. Below, you will find all of the possible rewards for both of the branching paths in the game.

Battle Weekend Challenge 1/3:

• Power up Pokémon 15 times - Machop Encounter
• Use a Charged TM - 1 Fast TM
• Evolve 3 Pokémon - 1 Charged TM
• Rewards: 1,000 Stardust, 2,500 Stardust, and 1 Premium Battle Pass

Raids, Grunts, and Gyms! branch 2/3:

• Battle in a gym 5 times - 5 Rare Candies
• Use Supereffective Charged Attacks in 10 Gym Battles - Stunfisk Encounter
• Battle in 2 raids - 2,500 XP
• Win 2 raids - Swinub Encounter
• Defeat 3 Team GO Rocket Grunts - 2,500 Stardust
• Defeat a Team GO Rocket Leader 3 times - Beldum Encounter
• Rewards: Chansey, 1 Lucky Egg, 1 Star Piece

Raids, Grunts, and Gyms! branch 3/3:

• Claim reward - 25 Poké Ball
• Claim reward - 15 Great Balls
• Claim reward - 10 Ultra Balls
• Reward: Charizard Encounter

GO Battle League branch 2/3:

• Battle another Trainer in the Great League 5 times - 5 Rare Candies
• Win 1 Great League Trainer Battle against another Trainer - Stunfisk Encounter
• Battle in the GO Battle League 10 times - 2,500 XP
• Win 2 Trainer Battles in the GO Battle League - Swinub Encounter
• Battle in the GO Battle League 20 times - 2,500 Stardust
• Achieve Rank 5 in the GO Battle League - Beldum Encounter
• Rewards: Chansey Encounter, 1 Lucky Egg, 1 Star Piece

GO Battle League branch 3/3:

• Claim reward - 25 Poké Balls
• Claim reward - 15 Great Balls
• Claim reward - 10 Ultra Balls
• Reward: Charizard Encounter

Keep in mind that both the Battle Weekend Challenge research and the Team GO Rocket research will be entirely free to participate in. These are essentially a mix of Ultra Unlock rewards and new Season of GO challenges for all Trainers. Best of luck in taking on other Trainers!
