Pokémon GO's Mythic Blade event will conclude soon as Trainers have attempted to catch up with the lightning-fast Mythical Pokémon, Keldeo. Throughout the event, Keldeo has brought Fighting-type Pokémon to throw curveballs at Trainers, including the crab-looking Pokémon, Crabrawler.
As promised, the event's Special Research story, Something Extraordinary, is now live for you to complete and earn various rewards, including an encounter with Keldeo. We've detailed everything about the Something Extraordinary Special Research story for the Mythic Blade event in Pokémon GO.
11th December 2022: According to Pokémon source, Leek Duck, acquiring the featured Attack, Sacred Sword, for Keldeo isn't guaranteed but is available within the moveset pool. To acquire it, trainers will need to use a Charged Technical Machine (TM) for Keldeo to know the move.
All Pokémon GO Something Extraordinary Special Research Tasks & Rewards
The Mythic Blade's Special Research story, Something Extraordinary, is live to all Trainers on 10th December 2022 at 10 am local time. You'll have until 11th December 2022 at 8 pm local time to claim the Research story, which you can complete at any time after the event.
This Special Research story is a ticketed Research that you'll need to purchase from the in-game Shop for $7,99 or the equivalent of your local currency. This Research story will lead to an encounter with Keldeo (Original Form) and other Pokémon encounters with Fighting and Water-type Pokémon.

- Make three consecutive Great Throws: Super Incubator x2
- Win in the GO Battle League: Stardust x1,500
- Page Rewards: Rare Candy x2, Silver Pinap Berry x2, and a Medicham Encounter
Something Extraordinary Special Research (7/7):
- Take a snapshot of any Grass-type Pokémon: Stardust x2,000
- Take a photo of any Rock-type Pokémon: Stardust x2,000
- Take a photo of any Steel-type Pokémon: Stardust x2,000
- Take three photos of Keldeo: Tirtouga Encounter
- Page Rewards: Rare Candy x2, Keldeo Candy x20, and a Keldeo T-Shirt
