Pokemon GO Greedy Gluttons Timed Research Tasks & Rewards

The Greedy Gluttons event will add a ton of new content to Pokémon GO. Players will be able to encounter UB 05 Gluttony, a.k.a Guzzlord, through Five-Star Raid Battles, and will also be able to earn heaps of rewards by completing Research Tasks. 

From item gifts to wild encounters with potential shiny Pokémon, you need to be up to date with all the Greedy Gluttons Research tasks so as not to miss out! This article will cover all the Timed Research Tasks for the Greedy Gluttons event, as well as the rewards you can obtain for completing them. 

Pokémon GO Greedy Gluttons Event - Timed Research Tasks

Here is a list of all the Pokémon GO Timed Research Tasks. It has been confirmed that the Greedy Gluttons Timed Research rewards include the following items and wild Pokémon encounters: 

• Walk 1 KM: 3 Nanab Berries
• Walk 2 KM: 7 Razz Berries
• Walk 3 KM: 7 Pinap Berries
• Walk 4 KM: Snorlax Encounter
• Walk 5 KM: 5 Nanab Berries
• Walk 6 KM: 3 Golden Razz Berries
• Walk 7 KM: 3 Silver Pinap Berries

The Snorlax encounter will be between 1320 CP and 1382 CP and has a chance to be shiny. Players will also receive a Poffin (x1) and 7000 XP for completing these rewards. You can check out this helpful infographic below for a visual breakdown. 

What Is Timed Research In Pokémon GO?

Timed Research is a special set of Research Tasks that is different from Special Research. This Research is time limited and must be completed within a specified time limit before it disappears (unlike Special Research which remains forever once started). 

However, the completion of this Research is very similar to that of Special Research. Unlike Field Research, players cannot obtain this Research by spinning PokéStops, and completion does not award stamps. Timed Research may appear in your Today View during events. Oftentimes, these missions come in groups of five, but this is not always the case. 

Rewards for Timed Research vary but often include the usual mix of Pokéballs, Berries, and wild Pokémon encounters. These wild Pokémon encounters will often have the chance to be shiny as well, so it is always worth completing all your Timed Research before it disappears.
