A new feature is now available in Pokémon GO as Trainers can connect to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and the Nintendo Switch. With this new connectivity between the two games, a lot more has been added to the game, and it is time for players to explore and understand it, including Golden PokeStops.
With these Golden PokéStops, Gimmighoul Coins are also becoming widely available in Pokémon GO as all of these things are connected to another new item: the Golden Lure Module. Here, we are going to go over everything you need to know about Golden Lure Modules and how you should use them.
2nd June 2023 Update: We've updated this guide to reflect that Golden PokéStops will return for the Searching for Gold event in Pokémon GO. However, these stops will appear without using Golden Lure Modules, which Roaming Form Gimmighoul won't be spawning here.
What Are Golden Lure Modules In Pokémon GO?
Niantic has given us some pretty good details on what exactly Golden Lure Modules are in Pokémon GO. As such, the Pokemon known as Gimmighoul is now appearing in the game as the Pokémon is found where Gimmighoul Coins are, which are nearby Golden PokéStops.
To find Golden PokéStops, you will need a Golden Lure Module. Golden Lure Modules turn regular PokeStops into golden ones. It is absolutely essential to have a good amount of Golden Lure Modules in Pokémon GO to find as many Gimmighoul Coins as possible.
How Do I Get Golden Lure Modules In Pokémon GO?
At the moment, there is only one confirmed way to get Golden Lure Modules in Pokémon GO. Trainers will have first to connect Pokémon GO to Pokémon Scarlet or Violet. Then through that connectivity, they have to send postcards to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which they'll receive Golden Lure Modules in Pokémon GO.
The first time a player does this, though, they will receive a Coin Bag in Pokémon GO and afterward, they'll get Golden Lure Modules. The more postcards that players send, the more Golden Lure Modules they will get, so it is well worth the time to collect them through PokeStops and send them to either Pokémon Scarlet or Violet.
