Pokémon GO’s upcoming Community Day event will see the Grass-type Pokémon, Chespin, and its evolutions featured throughout the event. As there is a chance Trainers may encounter either Shiny Chespin in the wild, it can also be rewarded when completing various Research tasks for this event.
We‘ve previously detailed all Field Research tasks for the Chespin Community Day, and tickets are on sale for the event’s Special Research story, Quality Quills. We’ve provided all the Special Research tasks and rewards for the Chespin Community Day event for Pokémon GO.
7th January 2023 Update: We've updated this Pokémon GO page to include all the Special Research tasks for the Quality Quills Special Research story. Details are provided below.
All Pokémon GO Chespin Community Day Special Research Tasks
The first Community Day event for 2023 will begin for Pokémon GO on 7th January 2023 for a limited time between 2 pm and 5 pm local time. Developer Niantic has confirmed the Grass-type Pokémon, Chespin, is its featured Pokémon, and its evolution family can be spotted during the event.
On 6th January 2023, the developer made tickets for the paid event-exclusive Special Research, Quality Quills, available for Trainers to acquire for themselves or gift to friends. Tickets can be purchased in-game from the Shop for $1,00 or the equivalent of your local currency.
Once the Community Day event goes live, you can claim the Research tasks and start progressing with each task to claim its adjacent reward. You should also know that these tasks cannot be repeated, so you should complete them before receiving rewards.
It’s also worth noting that tickets are non-refundable according to guidelines outlined in the game’s Terms of Services; completing it won’t include an “in-game medal,” according to Niantic.
