Black Wings Studio has released an extensive 4-minute-long trailer for Persona 5: The Phantom X, showcasing new playable characters, locations, social sim elements, and dungeon bosses, just to name a few. In addition to this, the studio has announced another closed beta test called the 'Heart Stealing Test' that runs from 16 January 2024 to 31 January 2024.
Like the previous beta, the upcoming Heart Stealing Test for Persona 5: The Phantom X will be available only in China. Currently, there's no word on a global beta or a potential global release date.
For those unaware, Persona 5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play gacha game in the veins of titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. Outside of the gacha mechanics, which can be used to obtain new characters, Persona 5: The Phantom X seems like a traditional Persona game with a sociopolitical plot, social-sim elements, and turn-based combat.
The latest Persona: 5 The Phantom X trailer also confirms brand new social elements that have never been seen before in a Persona game, such as Persona Dancing-style music mini-game and Football. The trailer also showcases a brand-new dungeon, several bosses, as well as a Metaverse-style explorable area.
Persona 5: The Phantom X will be released on Mobile Devices and PC.
