Party Animals Finally Drops On PS5, Latest Update Adding The Crisis Mode, Increased Level Cap & Login Rewards

Nemo is rounding his friends for a massive party as the latest game update for the multiplayer game Party Animals has launched for consoles and PCs. This new update adds some seasonal additions to celebrate the Chinese New Year, which celebrates the Year of the Snake, much-needed game imporvements and adjustments, and a new mode to enjoy with their fellow "Party Animals."

A brand new game mode, The Crisis, arrives with this latest update, and based on its official description, it pits players to "work together" to reach their intended destination while sniffing out a rather suspicious animal while onboard a spaceship. This latest update also coincided with the game's long-awaited console launch for the PlayStation 5; however, it's unclear if cross-platform play (crossplay) will be supported, so we'll update this news article with additional information.

Developer Recreate Games released the patch notes for Party Animals' 1.10.0.0 update, adding new content and features "to bring the festive atmosphere into the game" to celebrate the Chinese New Year! Speaking of the Chinese New Year, new login rewards will go live in-game between 24th January and 14th February 2025 at 4 am PT / 7 am ET / 12 pm UTC, split into ten tiers offering currency, name cards, skins, avatars, and more with a premium version also available.

One new addition is The Crisis, a new game mode where animals onboard a spaceship (awfully sus) must work to complete objectives to reach their destination and find the killers who "have infiltrated the group." The developer has also added some quality-of-life (QoL) improvements, like increasing the game's level cap from 100 to 150, which is the first for Party Animals post-launch.

It has been noted that further Level Caps are being planned for future updates, which the developer will notify players ahead of time. Another claw machine has been added to Nemo's collection, arriving in this update, which contains unique and "adorable Vegetable Fairies" that players have between 24th January and 28th February 2025 at 4 am PT / 7 am ET / 12 pm UTC to spend Coins or those precious Nemo Bucks to win themselves some veggie-tastic prizes.

There is a bonus added for this claw machine as players can clear out challenges and "upgrade the Vegetable Fairy Pass" between 24th January and 21st February 2025 at 4 am PT / 7 am ET / 12 pm UTC to be awarded "up to 20 free claw machine coins." Lastly, a few additional content and feature updates and bug fixes have been added with this update to improve players' gameplay experiences further, especially with the arrival of the new game mode!
