Will Palia Be Available On Xbox & Xbox Game Pass

Singularity 6's upcoming release, Palia, will see players discovering the scenic views and unique characters that call Kilima Village home on PC in the next Beta testing period. In addition, Nintendo Switch players will experience the coziness as the game will arrive in time for the holidays later this year.

While the developer is working hard to prepare the game for its eventual release, little is known about whether it will soon be coming to Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. Is Palia Coming To Xbox And Xbox Game Pass?

With the cozy MMO, Palia heading to PC and Nintendo Switch consoles soon, as the latter is arriving in Holiday Season 2023, console players, specifically PlayStation and Xbox owners, have wondered whether the game will be coming to these platforms respectively. Although there is a high interest in the game to be made available on these platforms, the developer has stated a future game release on Xbox consoles, including Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

In a developer blog post dated 21st June 2023, Singularity 6 responded to whether players can potentially play Palia on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles by stating the following:

Right now, our primary focus is having Palia be available on Nintendo Switch and PC. We're aware of the demand for other platforms, so please keep an eye on our channels for future announcements!

With development still ongoing for Palia, with a Stress Test slated for 25th July 2023 and two Beta periods scheduled for 2nd and 10th August 2023, it will be sometime before Palia arrives on Xbox consoles. More importantly, it has yet to be determined if the developer will be interested in bringing the cozy experience to its subscription service, the Xbox Game Pass, in the future.

Nevertheless, should Palia eventually be made available for Xbox consoles, players will expect fewer differences between its available ports as this is known for its PC and Switch versions. Additionally, the game will launch as a free-to-play (F2P) title with the developer monetizing cosmetic items, appealing to players looking for a new MMO gaming experience without spending money to get the base game.

The game would benefit from being launched onto Xbox consoles as Palia will support cross-platform play or crossplay at launch, allowing players to join their friends in-game regardless of which platform they prefer. While this is purely speculation momentarily, the developer will issue announcements on a potential Xbox release on their official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts and their official Discord server.

Palia will be hosting a Closed and Open Beta for PC scheduled for 2nd and 10th August 2023, which players can create an account to join. Palia will be released for Nintendo Switch Holiday Season 2023 as the game is available to Wishlist with a release date for PC to be announced.
