As players anticipate the subsequent patch update for Palia, which brings a host of Winter and Christmas-themed content, players will be able to decorate a tree in-game. Tree Decorating will be an in-game activity to do solo or have fun with friends and Community Members, but before decorating it, they’ll need a tree and some decorations.
Developer Singularity 6 has revealed that players will receive a tree; although the details are unclear, the decorations can be found easily in-game. As we await for more information, we’ve provided what’s being confirmed thus far on how to get and use Tree Decorations in Palia.
How To Find The Winterlights Tree Decorations In Palia?
The developer has detailed some initial information regarding this activity, confirming that Tree Decorating is coming to Palia in an upcoming patch update. As we cannot confirm how players will precisely retrieve a tree to place either on their Housing plot or inside their homes, we know some information on how they can obtain the decorations.
According to the contents enclosed in November’s Developer Update post, players can discover various tree decor items by exploring Kilima Village and Bahari Bay. Some decorations can be acquired when using their Skills when fishing Treasure Chests and foraging other lootable pouches found within their Inventory.
While we also can’t confirm what decorations players can acquire from Treasure Chests and other lootable pouches, we do know that players will be able to keep their tree up all year round and without being criticized for it. However, they will likely have to maintain their trees, much like they do with their crops, by watering them until the developer confirms, or they can be placed like other trees on their Housing plot.
How To Use The Winterlights Tree Decorations In Palia?
Once players have collected some Tree Decorations, they can return to their Housing plot before interacting with trees on their plots or within their homes. This may be how players can begin decorating their tree; however, the mechanics have yet to be explained by Singularity 6 regarding how and where they can place the decorations on their tree.
The developer may make the decorating mechanics similar to the mini-games when cooking or fishing. Either way, this will likely be addressed in upcoming posts from the developer as we get closer to the next patch update for Palia, the release date of which has yet to be announced.
For now, they can have their very Christmas tree in their home and decorate it using items acquired from Treasure Chests and other lootable methods, and players can buy more decorations from the seasonal shop that’s returning for the holidays. If so, the pricing has yet to be announced as it’s already known that Snowballs can be bought from the seasonal shop, which is found behind Jel’s Tailor Shop in Kilima Village’s town square.
