The roles of the Dragon and the Phoenix have prominent influence and significance in Majiri culture and religion. Players can find evidence of its impact through statues and shrines located in Kilima Village and Bahari Bay, including the Phoenix Shrine.

Jina has learned of a strange occurrence in Phoenix Falls, where she asks players a favor to help her investigate the location of where they first met. In uncovering this mystery, players will learn the secret meaning of the Phoenix Shrine, explored in its aforementioned named quest, The Phoenix Shrine.

This quest is connected to the Ancient Battery quest, as completing The Phoenix Shrine will lead them to the next quest involving the Dragon Shrine. Find out what’s happening in Phoenix Falls by following the quest objectives while completing The Phoenix Shrine quest:

How To Complete The Phoenix Shrine Quest In Palia?

The Phoenix Shrine quest will be given to players after completing the Mysterious Object and Ancient Battery quests, and a letter from Jina will be delivered to their Mailbox. As she noticed something obscure happening at the location where she first met them, she asked a favor to help her investigate the area should they have the time.

After reading her letter, players can head off towards the quest marker placed inside the mountains at Phoenix Falls by following the trail leading inside the mountains and going down the corridor to their right. This leads them to where they first arrived at Kilima Village and where the Phoenix Shrine can be found, which they will investigate.

To investigate the Phoenix Shrine, players must interact with the shrine, which prompts them to “Commune” with it, which costs 100 Renown. If they don’t have sufficient Renown, they can complete a few more quests available to them by viewing their Quest Log when accessing the Character Profile menu.

Once they have enough Renown, they can “Commune” with the Phoenix Shrine, where they’ll receive the Phoenix’s blessing, which increases their Focus Bonus percentage. After gaining the blessing, The Phoenix Shrine quest will be completed, with which they’ll receive 15 Renown, and the following quest, The Dragon Shrine, which they can start progressing.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
