Players can collect a vast array of items when using their Skills in the open-world environments of Palia. These items can be proven valuable to them as they can be utilized in crafting crafters, tools, and consumables, cooking dishes, or used to complete quests, which is valid for the Ship Fragments.
Players can only find them in a specific region, and while they don’t generate much income when sold, they are valuable for Villagers who like receiving them as gifts. For players who may have these items stored away in their Inventory or are looking to get them, we’ve explained where to find them and what to use them for in Palia.
What Can Ship Fragments Be Used For In Palia?
Ship Fragments are discovery items players can find in the open-world environment denoting evidence of a recent shipwreck. These items are considered junk items as they have no crafting purpose, and selling them will return very little Gold, so they are almost of no value.
Players can acquire Ship Fragments when fishing the coasts of Bahari Bay at any time of the day and require no bait to fish them out of the waters. It’s worth pointing out there’s the RNG factor when fishing for Ship Fragments, as players are more likely to catch lower rarity fish, Waterlogged Boots, Wagon Wheels, and Pirate’s Treasure Chests when fishing in Bahari Bay.
We don’t recommend casting their fishing line in the rippling zones, as players will either catch Star-Quality fish, treasure chests, or hidden quest items if they haven’t completed them yet. While selling Ship Fragments through the Shipping Bin or at Zeki’s General Store doesn’t offer as much Gold, they have some importance as they can be gifted to Villagers who will either like or love receiving them.
Some of the Villagers who can receive Ship Fragments as gifts are Einar, Elouisa, Jina, and Zeki, which can help players boost their Friendship levels with these Villagers. Additionally, Ship Fragments are a Weekly Want request from various Villagers, and players can learn this when speaking to them.
Players can consult various community-created trackers, including the PaliaNPC and Palia Tracker sites, which will help players know the Daily Gifts and Weekly Wants for all Villagers for the day and week. Do keep in mind that the Daily Gifts and Weekly Wants do reset as Weekly Wants reset every Sunday at 4 am UTC, and Daily Gifts reset daily at 9 pm PST / 12 am EST / 5 am UTC.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
