With four new bundles added to Palia, players need help acquiring various resources required to complete each bundle in-game. While some are slightly manageable, items needed for the Sear-Chef bundle may be tricky but not impossible.
This bundle will primarily deal with items and dishes utilized when cooking, and if you have high Cooking skill, you should be able to obtain the recipes to complete this bundle. Before cooking up a storm, here’s how to obtain all the resources for the Sear-Chef bundle in Palia.
Palia Sear-Chef Bundle: How To Get Bundle Items
This delectable bundle is part of four new bundles added to Palia through the latest game update. Like with previous bundles, players must unlock its related vault within the Night Sky Temple, which can be achieved by completing the Plumehound Pilgrimage and A Catalyzing Caper quests.
However, before heading straight into progressing towards the Sear-Chef bundle, do speak with Jina to complete the brief quest, Vault of the Flames, which will be mailed to you, and then access the second stone device. This bundle, in particular, is focused on the Cooking skill and its ingredients, which players will need to cook specific dishes and harvest various ingredients.
Before cooking the dishes mentioned below, players must acquire the recipes beforehand and fish, forage, harvest, or hunt the necessary ingredients before heading into your kitchen to cook. The recipes needed for this bundle are the Chapaa Masala and Stuffed Phoenixfire Peppers; however, regarding the latter, the vault shows Stuffed Tomatoes, which is the incorrect dish reflected as players have reported the bug and will reflect the correct dish.
To cook the Chapaa Masala, players will need the following ingredients to cook it over two Standard Stoves:
- Chapaa Meat x1
- Butter x1
- Dari Cloves x1
- Heat Root x1
- Milk x1
- Tomato x1
- Wild Garlic x1
- Spice Sprouts x2
Likewise, to begin cooking the Stuffed Phoenixfire Peppers, they’ll need the following ingredients to cook it over a Standard Stove:
- Any Red Meat (Chappa or Sernuk) x1
- Cooking Oil x1
- Egg x1
- Flour x1
- Spiced Sprouts x1
- Spicy Peppers x2
If you’re looking to cook up a storm in the kitchen to contribute items for the Sear-Chef bundle, you’ll need to collect the following resources detailed below and where to find them in Palia:
- Dari Cloves: This rare ingredient can be located in the northern area of Bahari Bay at any time of the day
- Heat Root: This ingredient can be seen growing on the cliffsides throughout Bahari Bay, with plenty ot be found at Coral Shores, Hideaway Bluffs, and Proudhorn Pass
- Chappa Masala dish: The recipe can be acquired from Reth’s Cooking Guild Store for 2,500 Gold when reaching Cooking level 8
- Stuffed Phoenixfire Peppers dish: The recipe can be acquired from Reth’s Cooking Guild Store for 2,000 Gold when reaching Cooking level 7
It’s worth mentioning that Dari Cloves and Heat Root can also be purchased using Skill Medals from Ashura’s Foraging Guild Store, and Dari Cloves can also be earned as a reward for completing the Level 3 Friendship for Chayne. Once all the resources have been harvested or cooked, return to the Night Sky Temple to contribute the items, and as a reward, players will get the Spicy Rice Cakes recipe; but if all four bundles are completed, the Ancient Rock Garden item will be yours.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
