Palia's v0.183 patch, the Sunset Soiree, adds plenty of Quality-of-Life (QoL) imporvements to the Home Tours feature and Building system but also welcomes two new plushie types for Palians to acquire. While the Chaapa Plushies can be obtained by hunting the three chapaa species in the overworld, the Potato Pods will be available as the update's new rewards.

They may be rather bulbous and shy at first, but the Potato Pods' arrival comes ahead of a new Trading system that developer Singularity 6 is planning to release this year. How To Get The Potato Pod Plushies In Palia?

The sun may be setting in Kilima Village as a new patch update has arrived in town in time for preparations for the Fall season. The v0.183 patch, the Sunset Soiree update, has launched for Palia on PC and Nintendo Switch, as developer Singularity 6 has detailed in the patch notes that a new Plushie has been added alongside the Chapaa Plushs, which can be acquired in-game.

Meet the Potato Pods, the newest Plushie addition to Palia, for which the developer hopes these adorable spuds will keep Palians a little more "grounded" in this latest update. The arrival of these spud-tastic plushies coincides with a new in-game mechanic, the Trading system, launching later this year, allowing Palians to trade items with each with the Potato Pods being an eligible item for the Trading system.

As for how they may get their hands on these spuds, they'll be dropping into our in-game Mailbox hotter than a hot potato, as Singularity 6 confirmed them to be new Login Rewards. These Potato Pod Plushies are available for a limited time bi-weekly, according to the patch notes, which announced when Palians can log into Palia to claim these "unique decor collectibles:"

• Potato Pods Wave 1: Between 28th August at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC and 10th September 2024 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC  
• Potato Pods Wave 2: Between 11th September at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC and 23rd September 2024 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC

During these abovementioned listed periods, Palians can log in anytime between the outlined times and claim their Pototo Pod from the in-game Mail accessed from the Character Menu. There are a total of 27 Potato Pods to collect, and when the Trading system launches, they'll be able to exchange duplicates with their friends in-game to own a complete Potato Pod collection.
