Across multiple patches, Palians have seen more plushies added to the cozy MMO Palia, and developer Singularity 6 provided some clues on how to get them in-game. Whether logging into the game, watching their favorite cozy streamer on Twitch, or using specific skills when exploring, there are a handful of ways to get their hands on some of the cutest items to treasure!
Following the launch of the v0.185 patch, the Fall’s Flourishes update, the developer finally introduced Palians to the Plush Trading feature to make acquiring not owned plushies more accessible, but how exactly can Palians get plushies? This guide addresses this Golden question as we've detailed how to get them and how they can be used, aside from trading, in Palia.
How To Get All In-Game Plushies In Palia?
Plushies are unique Customization items used to decorate indoor and outdoor living spaces on their Housing Plot. These delightful stuffed toys vary in size and design, which can add plenty of character to their designed space, but keep in mind the Decor Limit when placing these cute and cuddly plushies on their Housing Plot.
Each plushie is available in-game and is categorized into one of six rarities: Abundant, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary, much like furniture and decor sets, food items, bugs, fish, and creatures species are categorized. Additionally, a few plushies were limited-time items and are no longer available, and there is no in-game method to obtain them.
As for acquisition, there are two main methods Palians can use to obtain a plushie: events and non-event activities, which presently have several acquisition options. Let's look at the non-event activities, which are easy to understand as these are activities that are easily accessible to all players in-game and, at times, are essential to gameplay progression.
Within the non-event activities, the options available to acquire a plushie are Friendship quests, using the Bug Catching and Hunting skills, acquiring a Plushie Prize Bag after spinning the Prize Wheel, and opening Lucky Boxes received from Zeki's Wondrous Machine. Regarding the latter, Palians can earn Prize Wheel Coins as rewards from the Hotpot minigame before redeeming them by spinning the wheel, and Lucky Boxes are earned by spending a Lucky Coin at the Wondrous Machine found inside Zeki's General Store.
Then there are event activities, for which these plushies are limited-time exclusives, either acquired as Login Rewards, Twitch Drops, In-Game Mail rewards, or events like the Maji Market. Speaking of the Maji Market, this festival event is now a recurring event that runs for one week each month, allowing Palians to complete all the market activities, earn tickets, complete Stamp Cards, and, of course, acquire all the plushies available for purchase!

How To Best Use Plushies In Palia?
As mentioned before, Plushies are primarily used to decorate indoor and outdoor living spaces on their Housing Plot, which can be promoted via Home Tours so that others can be inspired by their decor designs. However, this is not the only way plushies can be used; thanks to the v0.185 patch, they can be traded through the Plush Trading feature.
To achieve this, Palians must complete the Trading Tips quest by picking up the quest at any trading kiosks simply by interacting with them, speaking to Zeki, and following the objectives to finish the quest and earn a Potato Pod Prize Bag and the trading permit. From there, interact with the trading kiosks located at the Underground Black Market and send out a transmission to interested parties before making an offer and completing the trade.
Practice trading etiquette when engaging in plushie trading, and if an offer is declined, know that some players may be looking for the plushies you may have in possession. Another way to use Plushies is through gifting, which shouldn't come as a surprise, but through our testing, only one Villager, Tish, accepts Plushies as gifts, which helps increase their Friendship Level with her to unlock her related quests and receive rewards.
In fact, any Plushie, Furniture piece, Decor item, or treasure chest can be gifted to Tish as the developer has not made it accessible for Palians to sell furniture and decor items or break down these items to regain their resources. Palians who may need some assistance keeping track of which Plushies they may have or have yet to acquire, the Palian community has made a few resources available to monitor their collections, making trading more efficient.
The Palia Tracker third-party site created by annieBananie has several interactive features that allow Palians to track every gameplay aspect from Daily Gifts, Weekly Wants, Garden Planning, and now Plushies and Potato Pods. The Plushie Tracker lets Palians track Plushies "already obtained and/or already displayed on your plot," while the Potato Pod Tracker helps them view what's "available in the game and track which you have already collected."
