Palia Quest Guide: How To Complete Plumehound Pilgrimage Quest

The latest patch update for Palia, v0.168, introduces players to an all-new location, the Temple of the Flames, where they can begin their adventures locating it through two new quests. The first quest, Plumehound Pilgrimage, will have you tracking down clues left behind by Tau, Hassian’s canine companion when exploring Bahari Bay.

This quest will lead you to the location; however, you cannot access it yet as you need to repair a damaged Ancient Battery, which requires help from Sifuu and Zeki. This explosive guide will detail how to complete the Plumehound Pilgrimage quest through its objectives in Palia.

Palia Plumehound Pilgrimage Quest Objectives List

The Plumehound Pilgrimage quest is one of the new adjacent quests connected to the new area, the Temple of the Flames, that was added in the 0.168 patch update for Palia. As such, players must have completed a specific quest to receive a letter to begin and find the next ancient ruins somewhere in Bahari Bay.

Before you set course for Bahari Bay, we have listed the quest objectives required to complete this Plumehound Pilgrimage quest in Palia:

1. Talk to Hassian about his letter
2. Pick up Tau’s trail
3. Follow Tau’s trail
4. Talk to Sifuu about the battery
5. Talk to Zeki in the Underground
6. Collect the Flowstone near a ruin
7. Collect the Flowstone near an exit
8. Collect the Flowstone near water
9. Collect the Flowstone near barrels
10. Collect the Flowstone up high
11. Bring the Flowstones to Zeki
12. Bring the overcharged battery to Sifuu

How To Complete Plumehound Pilgrimage Quest In Palia?

The Temple of the Flames is a brand new area at the Flooded Fortress exit from the Pavel Mines in Bahari Bay. Players looking to begin this quest will need to complete the Vault of Waves quest for Hassian to forward you a letter to your Mailbox, and you’ll need to speak with him before receiving your objectives.

Travel to Bahari Bay, specifically, The Outskirts location, as you’ll need to track Tau’s pawprints and the several sand heaps, where you can get various items, including fertilizer, Waterlogged Boots, and an Ancient recipe. The trail will eventually lead players to the Temple of the Flames, where you can find a broken Ancient Battery where you’ll need to return to Kilima Village to speak with Sifuu.

After some dialogue, she’ll inquire about speaking with Zeki to learn how to fix the Ancient Battery, which can be found at the Underground Store and accessed from his General Store if he completes the Wares of Low Places discovery quest. After speaking with Zeki, he’ll reveal that you need to obtain Flowstones, found inside Pavel Mines, and you’ll receive five clues to their locations.

Below, we’ve listed all the clues and where to find each Flowstone within Pavel Mines for this quest in Palia:

• Collect the Flowstone near a ruin: In the exit tunnel heading towards the Flooded Fortress, this Flowstone is seen on the left side (this will lead you to the Temple of the Flames)
• Collect the Flowstone near an exit: From the Pavel Mines entrance, where Hodari can be spotted, head inside to find the Flowstone on the right beside some rocks.
• Collect the Flowstone near water: On the lower level of Pavel Mines, look for the fishing spot as the Flowstone is resting atop a rock.
• Collect the Flowstone near barrels: Across from the Flowstone near the exit, head down the first tunnel to the left and look out for the Flowstone on the right near barrels.
• Collect the Flowstone up high: Head to the upper entrance of Pavel Mines, and once inside, look for the platform on the left, jump down, and repeat on the next platform to find the next Flowstone.

It’s worth mentioning that players, including myself, are experiencing issues with collecting the Flowstone near the Pavel Mines exit, where Hodari can be seen. As we await more information from the developer, for the time being, the location mentioned above is where this Flowstone can be found.

Head back to Kilima Village and find Zeki to help you restore the Ancient Battery, as he can be found again at the Underground. Return to Sifuu, where, after some dialogue, concludes the Plumehound Pilgrimage quest, and you’ll receive the following quest, A Catalyzing Caper, where you’ll meet Hassian, Sifuu, and Tau at the Temple of the Flames.
