There are plenty of themed activities around the Kilima Village Fairgrounds, while the Maji Market is open to all Palians. From completing the event's themed questline to participating in the minigames to finishing the Stamp Cards, developer Singularity 6 has added another surprising activity to do, namely treasure hunting!

Maji Market-themed treasure chests are littered across the fairgrounds, and looting each chest awards them with unique rewards, including Maji Market Tickets. Please don't get all locked up over these chests, as we've outlined where to find all the Maji treasure chests in Palia.

How To Find All The Maji Treasure Chests In Palia?

Long-standing Palia players will know that with every Maji Market event running in-game, there are a few hidden activities to be discovered within Kilima Village Fairgrounds. The game's developer, Singularity 6, revealed in the 0.184 patch notes, "Those that know where to look might stumble upon a few surprises – but make sure to keep that knowledge close to the chest!"

If you know, you know what that means? There are treasure chests to be found throughout the fairgrounds, and we can confirm there are six uniquely themed Maji Market treasure chests for Palians to discover.

Luckily, they are found in locations used for previous treasure chests for the first Maji Market event and the Luna New Year edition in January 2024. Starting from the main entrance at the Maji Market arch west of Kilima Fairgrounds, we've detailed all the locations and how to find the Maji treasure chests in Palia:

  • Maji Treasure Chest #1: As mentioned before, the first Maji treasure chest is located on the west side of the Kilima Village Fairgrounds, heading towards the cliff and looking beside the tree to find the chest.
    • Reward: 200 Maji Market Tickets
  • Maji Treasure Chest #2: Head to Reth's Street Specialties stall north from the docks (and the former location of the Hotpot tables), where they can enter Reth's tent and peer behind the stove for the next chest.
    • Reward: 200 Maji Market Tickets
  • Maji Treasure Chest #3: This chest shares the location with Lord Enkii Fluffykins for The Great Chapaa Escape event quest, which is slightly east of the amphitheater; dropping down onto the piece of land and they can collect the chest and His Lordship if the aforementioned quest is active.
    • Rewards: One Star-Quality Delaila's Rolled Ice Cream and 150 Maji Market Tickets
  • Maji Treasure Chest #4: This chest can be discovered atop the Gazebo on the hill near the firework drop-off site (for the Experimental Explosives event quest) far east of Kilima Village Fairgrounds; to claim it, they must climb the cliff face before gliding down to the Gazebo.
    • Rewards: One Star-Quality Chapaa Pop and 150 Maji Market Tickets
  • Maji Treasure Chest #5: From the location for the fourth chest, the next one is nearby as it's atop the Stables near the Fast Travel Stables board; to reach it, they can glide down from the cliff above it and drop down onto the Stable roof.
    • Reward: 200 Maji Market Tickets
  • Maji Treasure Chest #6: Moving to the final treasure chest location inside a mining cart found behind Najuma and Hodari's Maji Market Fireworks stall east of the Kilima Village Fairgrounds.
    • Rewards: One Star-Quality Reth's Stinky Tofu and 150 Maji Market Tickets

These chests can be utilized to decorate their homes and outdoor spaces, much like we did with the Luna New Year and Winterlight treasure chests. They can alternatively gift these chests to Tish to increase their Friendship with her and some food for thought; the Star-Quality dishes can also be used, like with the themed treasure chest, for decorating their spaces.
