Developer Singularity 6 has released the latest patch update for Palia, which includes content to trick-or-treat players in-game. From new outfits to the Obstacle Course and Halloween-themed decor set, new equipment items are now available from a specific Skill Master.
The Flare Arrows may not do much harm when hunting; however, when utilized appropriately, they can attract gatherings, both large and small—looking to get the Flare Arrows? Players can learn more about this flashy arrow, including how to get the recipe in Palia.
How To Get The Flare Arrow Recipe In Palia?
The Flare Arrows were added to Palia in the latest v0.170 patch update as an alternative for the ever-explosive fireworks but with less firepower and bang. The Flare Arrow has been created with functionality in mind, and as such, its recipe is relatively straightforward to acquire.
According to the v0.170 patch notes, the developer has made acquiring the recipe for the Flare Arrows easy for all players. They'll need to locate Hassian, the Hunting Skill Master, and access the Hunting Guild Store to find the recipe for Flare Arrows available to buy.
However, the Flare Arrow item isn't available to buy from Hassian, so it's best to get the recipe and craft the arrows themselves. The recipe will set players back 500 Gold, and once acquired, they can start foraging resources to make the arrows from the Workbench.
How To Use The Flare Arrows In Palia?
As alluded to earlier, once players have the recipe, they can start collecting resources in Kilima Village if they don't have them within their Inventory or storage boxes. According to the recipe, players will need the following resources and quantities to craft the Flare Arrows:
- Flint x5
- Heartwood Logs x5
- Crystal Lake Lotus x1
This recipe makes five Flare Arrows, and if you wish to craft more, the multi-craft feature will allow players to prepare more Flare Arrows if needed. As for its uses, we've alluded that the Flare Arrows has been made with functionality in mind and a more sound alternative to fireworks.
The Flare Arrow can be used by players when gathering a party of fellow Palians together in-game before setting off on their next adventure. Whether it's farming runs, coordinating participants for the Celebration Cake parties, or participating in the Obstacle Course, players can launch a Flare Arrow to mark their location.
Once the Flare Arrow is launched, it fires a less flashy firework display, which remains visible for 60 seconds or until players launch another Flare Arrow. With the new social feature, Nearby Chat, they can chat to players nearby when texts are less efficient.
Palia is currently available in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The cozy MMO will be available on Nintendo Switch consoles, releasing Holiday Season 2023.
