Remembrance Garden holds a special place for Majiri as it remembers those who departed for their loved ones to visit in-game. While this location has no buried bodies, the burial rite of passage is held here, and players find various items here, including a photo of the Pavel family.
Finding this item will start the Family Memento Found Item quest, in which they can examine the photo to determine who the rightful owner is to complete it. Make someone’s day and return the lost item by following the quest objectives below to help finish the Family Memento Found Item quest in Palia.

Family Memento is a Found Item quest players can discover when exploring Kilima Village, specifically the Remembrance Garden location. Similar to Ashura’s Friendship Level 2 quest, A Bouquet of Sunshine, where they’ll find Ashura at his late wife’s shrine, they’ll also find something at Hodari’s late wife’s shrine.
However, they must have completed Najuma’s Friendship Level 4 quest before this item will appear at her shrine, triggering this quest. Players who are interested in completing this quest can look over the quest objectives to help them finish this quest in Palia:
- Return the Pavel family photo to its original owner.
How To Complete The Family Memento Found Item Quest In Palia?
The Family Memento Found Item quest can be triggered after players discover a photograph at the Pavels shrine at Remembrance Garden. After completing Najuam’s Friendship Level 4 quest, Survivors Guilt, they can begin with this quest before the photo can be found at the location mentioned above.
The photo found is of Hodari, Leta, and Najuma at Leta’s shrine, where they can speak to either Hodari or Najuma to turn in the item. If players talk to Najuma to turn in the photo, she explained that her father perhaps had left the photo behind at her mother’s shrine during his last visit and detailed her memory of taking that photo, citing that she misses her.
If they speak to Hodari and not Najuma, he’ll confirm that he indeed might have misplaced it at his wife’s shrine when he last visited her. He also explains that he’s not incredibly fond of taking photos, recalling how his late wife had to calm Najuma down with a sparkler to get her attention.
He later added that Najuma hasn’t been visiting her late mother’s shrine, as she doesn’t come to Kilima Village often. Whoever players choose to turn in the photo, Hodari or Najuma will thank them for returning the photo which they’ll receive five Renown, five Fireworks Arrows, and a letter post-quest from Hodari or Najuma, depending on who players choose to turn in the photo.
