The mystery continues within the Temple of the Gales now that players have acquired the Silverwing Eggs, Ancient Cloudminnow, and Flowbugs for Caleri, Elouisa, and Zeki. With the items in their possession, they can proceed to solve the puzzle during the Eye of the Storm quest and unlock the final island.
What lies ahead for the trio is even more mysteries that will finally be resolved by learning what happened to the human researchers and Silverwings trapped here. The intrigue continues as we’ve pulled out the quest log to help players complete the Eye of the Storm quest in Palia.
Palia Eye Of The Storm Quest Objectives List
Eye of the Storm is the final quest for the Temple of the Gales questline that can be triggered after completing the Silver-winging It! quest, and It Takes a Village subquests. Having collected all the Silverwing Eggs, Ancient Flowbugs, and Ancient Cloudminnow, the puzzle has been solved, and a giant air current leading to the final island across from the Main Island is unlocked.
They must make the journey there using the air current and their glider, and once they arrive on the final island, there will still be a few mysteries to be discovered before they can solve the Temple of the Gales. We’ve listed the quest objectives for players to follow, which should aid them in completing the Eye of the Storm quest in Palia:
- Talk to Zeki on the Main Island
- Explore the final island
- Activate the Flow Gate
- Return to Zeki
- Find something to pick the lock
- Return to Zeki
- Solve the sliding puzzle
How To Complete The Eye Of The Storm Quest In Palia?
After speaking with Zeki, players must make the journey to the final island using the air current and activate the Flow Gate to bring Caleri, Elouisa, and Zeki across. Zeki, who appears upset at the sight of a locked door, requires an item to lockpick the door and access the chamber to find any potential treasures while Caleri and Elouisa look for more information on the Silverewings.
The item in question must be “charged with Flow,” which is not far from the door location, as players must turn around and climb up the vines to their left before gliding towards a grate going upwards. Carefully jump onto the floating stone platforms, which they can use a glider to ensure this, and go around the pillar to find air currents to the right of a curved grate.
Jump into the air current while releasing the W key to increase their height before landing on a balcony area and take the grate climbing up before jumping across more floating stone platforms using their glider. Grab onto the overhanging vines, pull themselves up, and jump across to reach a building; as going to their left, they will find a Flow Generator Fragment to pick up.
Glide back down to Zeki at the door by the Flow Gate, which he uses to lockpick it open, and head inside, where players can find a mysterious blue-colored Silverwing Egg, another record log, and the Galeseeker Googles. Additionally, they’ll find the temple’s sliding puzzle to solve, which we’ll detail in a separate guide, which unlocks four new vault bundles at the Night Sky Temple in Kilima Village.
Once the new vault bundles have been unlocked at the Night Sky Temple, this completes the Eye of the Storm quest as players can proceed to the final quest, Vault of the Gales, by meeting Zeki inside the Night Sky Temple. Additionally, they’ll unlock the Bewildered in the Wild Accomplishment and receive 60 Renown (30 Renown each for the quest and unlocking the Accomplishment) upon the quest’s completion.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
