Singularity 6’s cozy MMO, Palia, has amassed a following since the game’s showcase reveal during the recent Nintendo Direct showcase, as players are flocking to experience the game first-hand. As the developer is gearing up for their scheduled Beta testing to begin on PC in August 2023, players have unexpectedly attempted to access the game ahead of schedule.
If you have yet to receive an invite to the Closed Beta and have tried to log in, you may have incurred an error code alerting you to unauthorized access. Nevertheless, we discussed the 403 error code and how to fix this issue for Palia.
Palia Login Error Code 403 Explained
Players who have tried or attempted to log into the Palia Game Client would have received an error code pop-up window that reads, “Login Error Code: 403 - Oops, you’re not eligible for this playtest,” prompting that their access has been denied. This error is classified as a game client login error, which, specifically for the game, alerts players who are trying to gain access to the game outside of its registered hours.
With the PC Public Beta testing period to begin shortly, the developer has been forwarding invites for the Closed Beta, and as such, many are attempting to sign in before the Beta starts. As such, players are to refer to the email confirmation for details, which include the date and time for when the Closed Beta begins.
Nevertheless, for your convenience, the Closed Beta begins 2nd August 2023 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC for PC. However, if you didn’t get the “Oops, you’re not eligible for this playtest” error code but a 404 error instead, this is to indicate that your login details have been entered incorrectly.
How To Fix The 403 Login Error Code For Palia?
If you have received the 403 Login Error Code without any details provided, as stated previously, you may have incorrectly inputted your Palia login details. To resolve this matter, you can need to be on the Palia Account login page and reenter your login details but also use the 404 error code solutions listed below to fix the error:
- If the email address has been incorrectly inputted, ensure that you’re using the email address to register the Palia account, as you need to log into your account using this address.
- Your email address can be changed once you’ve successfully signed in.
- Ensure you didn’t add extra letters, numbers, or special characters when inputting your email address and password.
- If the password was incorrect or you forgot it, you can reset it by clicking the Forgot Password link and following the prompts.
This should resolve the Login Error Code: 403, and you can log into your Palia account before downloading and installing Palia to your PC. However, if you’re still experiencing login issues, refer to the Registration and Login FAQ support page or submit an issue report to Palia’s Player Support Team, where they’ll follow up on the issue and provide solutions.
