With players wrapping up their adventures within the Temple of the Gales, they can begin their next in-game objective: completing the four new vault bundles unlocked after completing a specific quest. The Cloudcurrent bundle is one of these new bundles, in which players will have to acquire four different items that can be viewed when visiting the Night Sky Temple.
By now, players have been enjoying their downtime over the holidays fishing across Kilima Village and Bahari Bay, and it's the Fishing Skill needed to gather these bundle items to earn rewards. If they wish to learn more about the Cloudcurrent bundle, we've detailed everything they may need to know, including all bundle items and their fishing locations in Palia.
How To Find All The Cloudcurrent Bundle Items In Palia
The Cloudcurrent bundle is one of four new bundles that arrived in the recent patch update for Palia, along with the availability of the Temple of the Gales. Players will have to complete the temple questline, up until the Vault of the Gales quest, to begin completing each bundle by contributing items required when visiting the Night Sky Temple in Kilima Village.
Each bundle has a unique theme, which is true for the Cloudcurrent bundle as it’s centered around fishing. Players must fish for four unique species in Kilima Village and Bahari Bay. To make fishing for these items less arduous, have a few consumables and equipment, like the Major Safe Zone Size Booster, Fisherman’s Brew, Sashimi, and Fish Stew.
Remember that specific fish will require Glow Worms as bait, which can be unlocked once they’ve acquired the blueprint for the Glow Worm Farm from Einar through his Fishing Guild Store for 2,000 Gold. Additionally, they must have reached Fishing Skill Level 7 for this blueprint to become available for purchase before placing items and dishes into the farm to craft Glow Worms.
Cloudcurrent Bundle: All Fish Locations
Nevertheless, let’s look at all the items required to complete the Cloudcurrent bundle in Palia:
- Giant Kilima Stingray: This unique species can be caught during the morning, day, and evening (between 3 am and 9 pm) using Glow Worms when fishing at the lake biomes in Kilima Village.
- Rainbow Trout: Requiring no bait, this fish will spawn at any time of the day at the lake biomes in Kilima Village.
- Stormray: Head to the river biomes of Bahari Bay during the morning (between 3 am and 6 am) and the evening (between 6 pm and 9 pm) to catch this fish using Glow Worms.
- Thundering Eel: This fish spawns at the river biomes in Bahari Bay at any time of the day, and players can catch it using standard Worms as bait.
To expand on where exactly can catch these fish species mentioned above, the lake biomes of Kilima Village include the lakes at Phoenix Falls (near the waterfall), Maji’s Hollow, Whispering Banks, and the lake running from Mirror Fields to Reflection Fields behind the inn. Likewise, the river biomes of Bahari Bay include the Flooded Fortress, Proudhorn Pass, and the river flowing from Thorny Thicket to the Statue Garden.
Once players have caught all four fish species, return to the Night Sky Temple and deposit the items into the Cloudcurrent bundle vault. Completing it grants players a few rewards like two Major Hook Time Boosters, two Major Rod Recovery Boosters, two Major Safe Zone Size Boosters, and two Major Safe Zone Speed Boosters, and completing all four bundles unlocks the Young Silverwing Nest.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
