This marks the Maji Market's third in-game appearance as we head to the Kilima Village Fairgrounds to hang out with friends and NPCs, check out the new minigames, and indulge in a few market treats.

One of the new features that Palians can immediately spot is near Zeki's stall, where a series of Claw Machines are available to play; however, a token is required to guide the claw to a reward. This guide outlines how they can get and best use the Claw Machine Tokens during the Maji Market in Palia.

How To Get And Use Claw Machine Tokens In Palia?

Palia's Autumn Awakening (0.184 patch) update has arrived to the cozy MMO this month, ushering in the Fall Season with plenty of warmth and plenty of festivities to enjoy. Speaking of enjoyment, the Maji Market returns to the Kilima Village Fairgrounds with more mini-game activities to do, rewards to claim, and delicious food and treats to enjoy.

This also sees the return of the market's currencies, of which the Maji Market Tickets are back, along with a new type of currency: the Claw Machine Tokens. This type of currency can only be used during the active hours of the Maji Market, and much like most Palians, we want to get our hands on these tokens.

According to the 0.184 patch notes, the game's developer stated that the Claw Machine Tokens can be earned by spending the Maji Market Tickets at the multiple stalls to "have a chance to earn a Claw Machine Token," with the more spent, "the better chances" of getting one. However, the developer didn't specify what amount of Maji Market Tickets are needed to spend, nor is it stated anywhere else in the game; upon questioning players in-game, there is no required amount of tickets spent as getting a Claw Machine Token is randomized allegedly.

The only guarantee they have of getting a Claw Machine Token is buying items worth 6,000 Maji Market Tickets and more to get one token. In comparison to the previous Maji Market event, the Luna New Year edition back in January 2024, all Palians received one Prize Wheel Coin (the event's other currency) for every 2,000 Lucky Envelopes spent, and by completing one of the event's quests, New Year, New Wishes.

Essentially, gaining a Claw Machine Token is now RNG as this change to Claw Machine Token acquisition is too unpredictable to determine and is a rather disappointing change, especially given what they can be used for. In the aforementioned patch notes, the developer revealed that Palians could spend the Claw Machine Tokens at the Claw Machine near Zeki's stall at the Fairgrounds, and playing the machine could net them one of six Li’l Plushes.
