Ashura has always been viewed as the pillar of the growing community at Kilima Village and is always ready to lend a helping hand. While he has shared with players some of his experiences serving in the military and his relationship with his deceased wife, his relationship with his son is strained, and he decided to put his thoughts in a letter, which is at the heart of the Capable Courier Friendship quest.

As he rarely needs assistance, Ashura calls on players to help him decide which letter to forward to his son, in the Capital. Assist Ashura in choosing the best letter to deliver to his son, as players can complete the objectives required for the Capable Courier Friendship quest in Palia.

Palia Capable Courier Friendship Quest Objectives List

Capable Courier is Ashura's Friendship quest that players can unlock once reaching Friendship Level 3 and speak with Ashura afterward. This Friendship quest influences the following Friendship quest for Ashura, which depends on the dialogue option players selected during the Capable Courier Friendship quest.

The context of this Friendship quest delves into the estranged relationship between Ashura and his son, Nuroo, whom Ashura has mentioned in dialogue. Before explaining how to complete this quest, let's look at the objectives that will help players throughout the quest:

How To Complete The Capable Courier Friendship Quest In Palia?

As previously mentioned, this Friendship quest is unlocked after reaching Friendship level 3 with Ashura, in which players can locate him at Ormuu's Horn Inn, Remembrance Garden, or a fishing spot northwest of Kilima Village. Once players have begun conversing with him, he'll reveal that he's been drafting letters for which he needs a second set of eyes to review.

While he doesn't explain the contents of the letters, he hands them the key to his room at Ormuu's Horn Inn, where the letters are found on the table to the left when entering the room. Players are to read both letters addressed to Ashura's son, who took up military service despite Ashura's disapproval.

They can return to Ashura at their current location, where they must select the dialogue options that resonate most with them. Whether they inform Ashura to forward the letter regarding his late wife, Sabine, or convince him to send the letter admitting his faults, the outcome of this decision will influence the letter Nuroo forwards to Ashura in the A Family Matter friendship quest, so choose wisely.

Once they've made their decision, Ashura will send the letter to his son post-quest, which the response will start the quest above and conclude the Capable Courier Friendship quest. Players will receive Ashura's Key, 25 Renown, and 45 Flow-infused Planks and improve their friendship with Ashura.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
