Since its Open Beta release, Palians have utilized various decor and furnishing items to create "new and interesting configurations" in Palia. Instead of hindering their potential, developer Singularity 6 introduced the Building Blocks system, which will enhance this process.
Palians can now acquire Building Block items and create exciting structures and buildings that can't be found or crafted in-game. This guide details everything about the Building Blocks system, including how to get and best use them in Palia.
How To Get Building Blocks In Palia?
Palia's Crafted Comforts, or the v0.180 patch update, introduced Palians to a brand new gameplay feature that opens the doors to unlimited creativity. This feature is the Building Blocks system, which was first announced as part of Palia's 2024 Roadmap, detailed in the Developer Update post this year.
Aimed at getting Palians "creative with building blocks and structural decor," they can unleash their creativity and "flexibility" in assembling unique structures and buildings. "This is for all the Palians who need that extra flexibility that existing building add-ons don't quite have," which can be achieved using unique Building Blocks items to build these add-ons.
As for how they can acquire them, they interact with the cash register at City Hall to access its storefront and navigate to the Recipes tab to find all the recipes. Luckily for Palians, they won't have to spend Renown to purchase these blueprints as they can use Gold to obtain the following Building Block recipes:
- Builder's Small Stone Crate: 100 Gold
- Builder's Small Wood Crate: 100 Gold
- Builder's Large Wood Crate: 400 Gold
- Builder's Large Stone Crate: 400 Gold
- Builder's Stone Floor: 100 Gold
- Builder's Stone Pillar: 100 Gold
- Builder's Stone Ramp: 100 Gold
- Builder's Stone Wall: 100 Gold
- Builder's Wood Wall: 100 Gold
- Builder's Wood Ramp: 100 Gold
- Builder's Wood Pillar: 100 Gold
- Builder's Wood Floor: 100 Gold
How To Use The Building Blocks In Palia?
After purchasing the recipes from the City Hall Store, they can return to their Housing Plot and interact with the Worktable before scrolling through the acquired recipes to find the Builder's Stone or Wood items. Pay attention to the resources needed as they may have to harvest and mine resources like Sapwood Logs and Stones to be processed into sapwood planks and stone bricks.
Once they have processed enough Sapwood logs and Stones, they return to the Worktable, browse the acquired recipes, and begin crafting the Building Blocks they need. These items can be placed anywhere on their Housing Plot to assemble unique and fascinating structures and buildings that aren't available to build.
Lastly, the developer revealed in the v0.180 patch update that this system will be updated in subsequent updates. "Keep your eyes on future patches as we look to add more styles for even more options."
