It's that time of month when developer Singularity 6 has released a new game update for their cozy MMO Palia, available on PC and Nintendo Switch consoles. The 0.189 patch update titled Kilima Couture added a new decor set, more plushies and Flowers, and new character customization options alongside balance changes and bug fixes.
As this update ushers in the Spring season to Kilima Village, they've added new content to the game's social features, allowing Palians to express themselves in conversation. This guide will explain what we know about stickers, including how to get and use them in Palia and plenty more extra details.
How To Get All Stickers In Palia?
Stickers are a new group of collectibles that Palians can utilize when using the game's social or chat features. According to the developer in the 0.189 patch notes, the addition of Stickers follows feedback from console players using controllers looking for "better ways to engage with chat."
"We think Stickers can help these players communicate in a fun and playful way, as well as offer unique new collectibles that encourage even more self-expression," the developer elaborated. To start their sticker hunting journey, following the update's release and once Palians have updated the game, they'll immediately unlock eight unique Stickers, which can be found within the Emote Wheel by pressing and holding the T key or left bumper on the Joy-Con and highlight the Stickers tab.
Alternatively, they can access the Player menu in-game by hitting the P key or the + button on the Joy-Con and selecting the Collections tab (the cards icon) in the top right corner of the menu before choosing the Stickers option to find the acquired Stickers. Furthermore, the developer has confirmed other ways Palians can obtain Stickers, which are as follows:
- Twitch Drops
- Purchasing them via the Premium Store spending Palia Coins
- Using various skills like Bug Hunting, Fishing, Foraging, and Hunting, there's a chance for Sticker Packs to drop as loot.
- Sticker Trading, in which Premium Stickers can't be traded.
Lastly, there is one final way to earn Stickers, although just one Sticker as of writing as Palians who collected all 40 Stickers for the Series 1 Sticker Pack and completed the Series 1 Sticker Collector Accomplishment will receive the Trade Offer Sticker. Speaking of Premium Stickers, two are available via the Premium Store: the Sorry! sticker costing 100 Palia Coins and the Chapaa Roll! sticker, which is priced at 200 Palia Coins.
Palians with duplicated Stickers can trade them with other Palians by locating the Sticker Trading Kiosks at the Underground Black Market. However, they cannot trade the eight Stickers they start with, as Stickers acquired through skills, Twitch Drops, and other means can be traded.
How To Use Stickers In Palia?
Using Stickers in Palia is pretty straightforward; however, they'll need to equip them to their Sticker Wheel by going to their Collections, selecting Stickers, and binding eight Stickers of their choosing before saving their changes. Once equipped, access the Sticker Wheel by pressing the T key or left bumper on the Joy-Con and highlighting the Stickers tab before highlighting the Sticker they wish to use.
Once they've highlighted their preferred Sticker, it will appear in the in-game Chatbox, but only the eight default Stickers can be posted to the chat. The remaining Stickers are merely to collect and trade, and more Stickers will be added periodically to the game to complete their Sticker Packs.
