With four new bundles now available for players to start collecting resources throughout Kilima Village and Bahari Bay, they’ll utilize various Skills to obtain these items. As with previous bundles, they’ll need to return to the Night Sky Temple in Kilima Village, where they can view what’s required to complete each bundle, including the Brightbug bundle.
This bundle will task players to confront their fears of creepy crawlers to locate four bugs found in Kilima Village and Bahari Bay. For this bundle specifically, we’ve detailed what resources are required and how to find them in Palia.
Palia Brightbug Bundle: How To Get Bundle Items
The Brightbug bundle is one of four new vault bundles added to Palia in the recent v0.168 patch update. Players looking to progress towards this specific vault bundle must have completed the Plumehound Pilgrimage and A Catalyzing Caper quests to trigger the Vault of the Flames quest.
This quest will be sent directly to your Mailbox, and the only requirement needed to complete it is to visit Jina inside the Night Sky Temple, where you’ll also find Tau nearby. After completing this quest, you can start collecting items for each of the four vault bundles, including the Brightbug bundle, by interacting with the stone device.
The Brightbug bundle, whose name is nearly self-explanatory, will task players to use their Insect Catching skill and Smoke Bombs to collect four specific bugs. You must collect one sample of each item before returning to the Night Sky Temple and completing the bundle to earn rewards.
For the Brightbug bundle, you’ll need to collect the following resources listed below, and we’ve provided some additional information on where to find them in Palia:
- Bahari Glowbug: This green luminescent insect is seen at night, between 6 pm and 3 am, but this time within the grassy plains and cliffsides, including Hideaway Bluffs and Pulsewater Plains of Bahari Bay.
- Firebreathing Dragonfly: This gorgeous bug can be seen in Kilima Village, specifically around the Mirror Pond Ruins and the Mirror Fields, at any time of the day.
- Paper Lantern Bug: This blue luminescent insect is seen during the nighttime, between 6 pm and 3 am, near the coastal area and the northern side of Bahari Bay.
- Spitfire Cicada: This orange-colored bug is usually attached to medium to large-sized Sapwood trees in Bahari Bay between 3 am and 6 pm daily.
With the resources collected, return to the Night Sky Temple and contribute a sample of each resource to complete the Brightbug bundle. With the bundle completed, you’ll receive three Supreme Smoke Bombs as rewards and advance progress towards completing all four bundles, which you can get the Ancient Rock Garden furnishing item in Palia.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
