Throughout the Maji Market: Luna New Year festivities, Zeki has been adamant not to partake in the Majiri customs and traditions surrounding wish-making. While he doesn't quite explain why he prefers not to indulge in this activity, all will finally be explored in the A New Year to Remember event quest.
Zeki alerts players that "something real fishy" has been happening to him during the festivities; they'll be tasked with exploring the meanings and symbolisms behind the "weird dreams" he's been experiencing. Assist Zeki in decoding these "weird dreams" and make this a Luna New Year he'll never forget by following the objectives to complete the A New Year to Remember event quest in Palia.

How To Complete A New Year To Remember Event Quest In Palia?
A New Year to Remember event quest is the last quest players can compete at the Maji Market; however, this quest is quite dialogue-heavy, which players have been advised on. After completing the Wishes in the Wind quest, they can wait for a letter delivered to their Mailbox from Zeki, where he states that "something real fishy" is happening and he needs help.
This "something real fishy" happens to be "weird dreams" Zeki had for a few nights and is having trouble explaining these dreams' significance and meaning. Once he extensively explains these "weird dreams" he's been having, three key details can provide some meaning into what's troubling Zeki: exploding stars, boiling lava, and soggy papers, which they can investigate at the market.
They are to speak with various Villagers attending the market, but we advise starting with Chayne as he suggests speaking with Delaila after describing Zeki's "weird dreams." Delila had been keeping a dream journal to help her better understand her dreams, for which she deciphers the "exploding stars" as repressed feelings or emotions and "boiling lava" as surging feelings waiting to surface.
Unable to decode the "soggy paper" clue, players are to speak to another Villager, whom we advise talking to Reth to gain another interpretation of Zeki's "weird dreams." Taking a complete opposite of Delaila, Reth interprets the "exploding stars" as fireworks and "boiling lava" as his Lettuce Soup or the Hotpot but is also clueless about the "soggy paper" clue.
But when returning to Delaila to determine what the "soggy paper" clue could mean, she suggests that it could reference the Wish Ribbons, which they can speak to Reth about and explain its meaning. They can return to Zeki to explain the meanings behind the "exploding stars, boiling lava" and "soggy paper," players can reveal that the meaning of his "weird dreams" was due to him being caught up in his market plans for the Luna New Year.
Referring to the "good ol' days" again, Zeki reminisces on his childhood years when times were as simple as a kitten, having his parents to depend on before growing up. Revealing that he misses his parents and siblings, including his sister Zarah, he states that he hasn't seen them in years due to Grimalkin's traditions of being sent away at a young age.
He reflects on a time when his father took him and his siblings to a nearby Luna New Festival and marveled at its spectacles; his father also explained the Majiri custom of wish-making to Zeki. Having wished to reexperience the Luna New Festival with his family, he recalls that it never came true and thus stopped making wishes.
He also called back on a candy box his father brought home from the festival and the sweet delights he enjoyed upon returning home. Zeki advises players to let Chayne know he's doing just fine; they can report back to Chayne, who comes up with an idea to cheer Zeki up by placing messages inside a candy box.
Handing players a journal, they can go around the fairgrounds and speak to each Villager who has a stall at the Maji Market, namely Delalila, Hodari, Najuma, Kenyatta, and Reth. Additionally, they can talk to Eshe and Kenli to contribute before returning to Chayne with these messages, which are placed in the candy box along with Chayne's message.
They can bring this box to Zeki, who'll read three of the messages to players before learning that he has reexperienced the Luna New Year festival, not with his biological family but with his adopted one in Kilima Village. Feeling sentimental about the experience, Zeki hands his Wish Ribbon for Chayne to hang in the Wish Tree, which concludes the A New Year to Remember event quest.
Players will receive 15 Renown and 500 Lucky Envelopes to spend at the stalls during the Maji Market. Additionally, they will complete the Cat's Outta The Bag Stamp Card for the event, which players can claim the New Year Candy Box as a reward.
