Najuma wishes her father would be less strict and let her enjoy her freedoms as a child growing up in Bahari Bay; Hodari wishes to understand her better in a Discovery quest, A Family Squabble.

How To Complete A Family Squabble Discovery Quest In Palia?

This Discovery quest can be triggered by speaking to Hodari and having a Friendship Level 1 with him as a prerequisite. Once they’ve talked to him, they’ll learn that his relationship with his daughter, Najuma, is strained, so he wishes to understand her better.

To achieve this, they must speak to Najuma, who can be found at the family workshop or beside the pond near their home in Bahari Bay. Players are to help Hodari by finding what Najuma really wants, which can be done by clicking the icon with a Gift Box and a question beside the dialogue box, and she’ll respond with her Weekly Want.

Every Villager will have four Weekly Want requests per week, two liked and two loved gifts, which rotates every week. Should players have already asked her about her Weekly Want, they can hand in her request, but if not, they can acquire her Weekly Want request before turning it in.

Once completed, they can return to Hodari and share the information they’ve learned from Najuma to help him mend his relationship with her. Thanking players for going out of their way, they’ll receive 15 Renown, 20 Clay, and 20 Flint and have their friendship improved with Hodari upon this quest’s completion.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
