Palia Welcomes The Holiday Season With The Season Of Splendor Update

Developer Singularity 6 has confirmed the next content update for their cozy MMO Palia, which will be arriving on Nintendo Switch and PC via Epic Games Store, Steam, and its dedicated game launcher. The Season of Splendor will be the starting point for the game's Holiday season, during which Palians can look forward to seasonal content and more quests.

Alongside the announcement are confirmed content additions, planned adjustments, and optimizations that were revealed in the announcement post to their social media accounts. However, what caught Palians' eyes was the confirmation of the end of the current main questline, as it was revealed that the next region or Adventure Area had been announced in a Developer Update post.

Posting to their social media accounts on 19th November 2024, developer Singularity 6 confirmed the forthcoming arrival of the v0.186 update, the Season of Splendor, with a charming new trailer to promote it. This update is teasing the start of the conclusion of the current Prologue quest, which, as of writing, is the last currently active quest, "Strange Things Afoot," and may finally be completed when this update launches.

While we await the launch of the v0.186 update, the Season of Splendor, this update will be the start of Palia's Holiday season updates, which see the return of the Winterlights event. A new Winterlights questline may likely get added and confirmed as the next wave of Winterlights decor that will be acquired either from the themed questline, the Winterlights event shop, or possibly the seasonal treasure chests.

New plushies are coming to Palia, which in the v0.185 update added Plush Trading; this latest addition will give Palians more reason to utilize this in-game feature to acquire uncollected plushies. It's possible that fishing may be how Palians obtain these adorable stuffed toys, but we'll confirm this in a separate guide and the patch notes, which will become available soon.

Lastly, a refresh is coming to the Premium Store, where we can expect new cosmetic outfits titled Heroic Outfits, a new pet seen in the trailer (it's an owl), and plenty more items that have yet to be confirmed.
