Palia's v0.185 Update Finally Adds Plushie Trading Feature, New Outdoorsy Decor Sets

Something eerie has found its way to Kilima Village, but not for the reasons Palians may think. While the haunting sounds of the bell ring to beckon the calls of ghosts or the beasts of the Elderwoods this Halloween, a brand new content update is heading to the cozy MMO Palia, which is coming much earlier than anticipated... 

The upcoming v0.185 content update, also called the Fall's Flourishes update, will see a previously announced in-game feature making its way to the cozy MMO. Palians can, at long last, start trading a specific item that's cute, fluffy and at times be large or extremely tiny with others online, but how this feature works is unknown. 

The Fall Flourishes update will be launching much earlier than expected (by one whole week, mind you) as developer Singularity 6 confirmed its release on 22nd October 2024 for Nintendo Switch consoles and PC via the Epic Games Store, Steam, and its dedicated game launcher. As shown in the official trailer, the update finally adds the Plushie Trading feature, which was first revealed in a developer post in August 2024, as the developer needed to launch the Potato Pods and implement some Quality-of-Life improvements ahead of its launch.

Since Plushies were added to Palia, many have found themselves in possession of duplicated stuffed critters, and the addition of the Plushie Trading feature allows them to trade Plushies amongst Palians seamlessly. Details on how this feature will work in-game have yet to be explained by Singularity 6, but we can anticipate the patch notes to be readily available ahead of its scheduled maintenance period.

Furthermore, based on the official trailer and details in their social media posts, two more decor sets will specifically cater to those who will be enjoying the great outdoors this Fall (or looking to catch unwanted ghosts hovering nearby). New cosmetic items will avail themselves via the Premium Store, so be a doll and check in with Jel and the Maji Market is back for a limited time for Palians who have yet to finish the latest batch of market quests or complete their Stamp Card for rewards!
