Season 10 of Overwatch 2 has been quite the ride, with the addition of the new DPS hero Venture, the limited-time Mirrorwatch event, and many more balance changes. As we approach the end of the season, many are wondering about Season 11 and what we can expect to see next.

Overwatch 2 Season 11 Release Date
There hasn't been an official release date announced for Season 11, but based on the expiration date of the current battle pass, we expect it to launch around June 20, 2024. This would be unusual for Overwatch 2, as new seasons typically release on a Tuesday. If this pattern continues, the release could be on June 18 or June 25 instead.
Of course, this is still speculative. Once we have a confirmed release date for Season 11, we will update you accordingly on this page.
Overwatch 2 Season 11 New Map: Runasapi
Season 11 will not be introducing a new hero, as Season 10 already saw the arrival of Venture. Instead, we'll be getting a brand-new Push map called Runasapi, set in the Previvian city. The map ties in with the character Illari and her backstory, so we expect to see a deeper look into her origins.
In addition to this, there will also be a rework of the Push map Colosseo, aimed at solving some of the map's current issues, such as removing certain pieces of architecture and adding/moving mega health packs around. Overwatch 2 Season 11 New Features and Balance Changes
While a complete list of all the new features and balance changes for Season 11 is still unconfirmed, some information was shared in a recent AMA hosted on the Competitive Overwatch Reddit. During this AMA, the developers revealed potential reworks for Cassidy and Reaper, along with possible buffs for Lifeweaver and Mercy in future updates.
Additionally, the developers mentioned plans to adjust health pools for more evasive or high-damage heroes to reintroduce one-shot capabilities with Hanzo. There might also be a Symmetra rework to give her a stronger frontline presence. Of course, much more may be in store that wasn't mentioned.
We still need official confirmation from the developers before any of these hero balance changes can be confirmed. As soon as we have more information, we'll update you accordingly. For now, at a high level, we can expect Season 11 to bring a new battle pass, new events, the new Runasapi map, and the Colosseo rework, as well as hero nerfs/buffs and, last but not least, new skins and cosmetics.
