Warner Bros. Games revealed today that the newest face to join the ranks of MultiVersus is iconic DC villain The Joker, who will be voiced by actor Mark Hamill. Hamill previously played The Joker in the Batman: Arkham video games, as well as in Batman: The Animated Series. Outside of his roles as The Joker, Hamill is also known for playing Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise.
A brief 30-second trailer introduces both Batman and The Joker to MultiVersus - and we even get to hear a snippet of Hamill's instantly-recognizable voice. You can check out the reveal trailer for The Joker just below:
MultiVersus returns on 28 May 2024, and The Joker will be available on launch day. When MultiVersus launches, it'll be a free download for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store.
The game's cast will also include other iconic characters from Warner Bros. franchises, like Harley Quinn, Black Adam, and The Joker (DC); Shaggy and Velma from Scooby-Doo, Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian Devil a.k.a. Taz, and Marvin the Martian (Looney Tunes), just to name a few. With the fighting game releasing later on this month, fans won't have to wait much longer to check it out for themselves.
