Black Adam plot
The character Black Adam is originally from the DC Comics comic books. In the DC Comics universe, Black Adam is from ancient Egypt, where he was granted superpowers by the magical wizard Shazam. Corrupted by power, though, he sought to take over the world, starting with Egypt.
It's likely that Black Adam will hold on to his iconic backstory for the movie, but it's unclear where the film's plot will take him exactly. In the trailer for the movie, Black Adam appears to be depicted not as a hero but also not as a villain; he appears to be a morally grey character, put in a position where he can either use his powers for good or for evil.
While the entire plot of Black Adam has yet to be revealed, it will likely expand upon the character's backstory and his relation to Shazam.
How to watch Black Adam
Once Black Adam is released, there will be multiple avenues to watch the movie. Black Adam will be available to view in theaters in the United States starting on 21st October 2022.
A little over a month later, the movie will also be available to stream at home on HBO Max.
