A Hello Neighbor Movie is coming, written by Five Nights at Freddy's movie writer Tyler MacIntyre and produced by Alex Nichiporchik and Jonathan "Carnage" Joyce. It'll be created by BoulderLight Pictures, the studio behind Barbarian, Becky, and Contracted.
The announcement came at the end of today's Season 2, Episode 6 of Secret Neighbor, the Hello Neighbor cartoon. In this seasonal finale, the 2D animation switches to a 3D scene on a playground, where the cover page for the script for the Hello Neighbor movie can be seen.
On it, we can make out the writer and producers' names, the studio's name, and the title of the movie - just "Hello Neighbor" - but nothing else. It's likely we'll hear more information about the movie as its development begins or continues.
The Hello Neighbor movie couldn't be coming at a better time, with the recent success of Five Nights at Freddy's (a FNAF 2 film is in the works!) and the Bendy and the Ink Machine Movie slated for a release next year.
