Even before Mortal Kombat 11 got released, it has been an open secret that at some point, Ash Williams would make his way into the game.
This was thanks to a datamine of the Mortal Kombat 11 beta. Now, Warner Bros. has seemingly leaked Ash Williams as an upcoming DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11.
The leak reportedly comes from Warner Bros. in an email promoting latest DLC character Spawn. A screenshot of the email in question comes from two-time ESL Mortal Kombat X Pro League finalist, Taco.
Ummm did Warner Bros just leak Ash from the Evil Dead in their Spawn e-mail campaign? Read the footer. LOL! pic.twitter.com/TcLZDQyJPz

According to the leak, this wouldn’t be the Ash Williams character from the first Evil Dead, but from the third in the trilogy Army Of Darkness - portrayed by Bruce Campbell in 1993.
Bruce Campbell however has previously denied rumours Ash is heading to Mortal Kombat, although this leak does suggest there might have been a turnaround.

It is always good to remember you should take leaks with a grain of salt, although he’s been heavily rumoured for some time.
We've already mentioned the datamine of the Mortal Kombat 11 beta before, but an official trailer for Shang Tsung last year teased a new character with a chainsaw - as blood splatters over the text.
It clearly points to Ash Williams making an appearance but will it actually happen? We’ll have to see.
