We already know that Mortal Kombat 12 is coming at some point, thanks to several statements from Ed Boon and a quite frankly extremely casual announcement by Warner Bros Discovery during an earnings call, but we might know now a couple of the guest characters for the next installment of the popular fighting game series.
According to Corden's teasing tweet, Peacemaker will be featured in an upcoming fighting game, which is likely to be Mortal Kombat 12. Warner Bros Discovery is pushing their DC characters heavily right now, and since they also own the Mortal Kombat franchise, it's likely that they'll want to show off their movie franchises in the game.
He won't be the only guest character from a superhero property, though. Corden is also teasing that Homelander is to be included in a follow-up tweet.
It's unknown when Mortal Kombat 12 will be released, or even when we'll hear more from the game, but the fact that both the developer and publisher are so open about the existence of the game likely means we'll hear from it sooner rather than later.
