With launch fast approaching, many fans are focused on what MLB The Show 24 Franchise Mode will look like as well as counterpart March to October. Just as they have in recent years, Sony San Diego is doing a series of Feature Premiere deep dives looking at the biggest new features coming to MLB The Show 24. More details are still on the way, but here's what we know so far about MLB The Show 24 Franchise Mode and March to October.
MLB The Show 24 Franchise Mode & March to October Predictions
Sony San Diego has been relatively quiet about several game modes so far this year, as the earliest Feature Premieres have been dedicated to Storylines: Negro Leagues Season 2 and Storylines: Derek Jeter. While these will be huge additions to the game that every player can enjoy, we're eagerly anticipating news about other core game modes.
MLB The Show 24 is expected to bring back Franchise Mode and March to October, but exactly what these new iterations look like has yet to be confirmed. We've seen solid steps forward in both modes during the last few installments of this annual series, but neither has seen any groundbreaking upgrades.
One of the most requested features that could upgrade both game modes is the ability to add expansion teams and rearrange the league conferences. NHL 24 Franchise Mode has made those steps forward recently, but it's an area where MLB The Show is still lagging behind. Even if it is added, they'll likely still restrict some of what players can customize in March to October. That game mode has been consistently linked to Diamond Dynasty rewards, so they tend to be careful about how much can be altered in a playthrough.
So far, two Feature Premieres remain without details on what game mode will be covered. Diamond Dynasty is sure to be one of them, but it looks like not every game mode will be getting new features. Franchise Mode, March to October, or single player career mode Road to the Show may end up looking much like what players saw in MLB The Show 23.
